A national program for students to express their creativity through original works of art. Winners at the school, county, and state levels will be sent to the final National judging round. Northwest Elementary is proud to have had winners advance to the state level.
NWE PTA's biggest annual fundraiser in which the proceeds directly benefit our school, students, teachers, and staff. It is a fun family night filled with games, activities, silent auction, music, food, and much more! Usually held on a Friday after school in the spring on the school campus.
A themed week dedicated to expressing our gratitude to all our amazing teachers and staff. Each day is a unique opportunity to show how much we appreciate their hard work and contributions that make Northwest Elementary a great place to go to school.
Preserve your child’s memories of their time as a Northwest Nighthawk. We work with Strawbridge Studios, a leader in the yearbook publication industry, to create a collection of photographs from the many events and programs throughout the school year.
A special event to honor our 5th Grade students. Parents, staff, and students plan a fun celebration at the school. It is a great opportunity to recognize our students who are leaving their Nighthawk years behind them with a special send-off to middle school.
The school store is an incentive-based program for Northwest students from kindergarten through 2nd grade. Each week, they earn money through the SOAR Program for good behavior. Then at the end of the month they will have an opportunity to shop with Northwest dollars to purchase "prizes." Each Grade takes a slight different approach, please contact your teacher for specific details.
We need prize donations!
We will HAPPILY TAKE DONATIONS of any quantity of small party favors, stickers, pencils, toys, and like-new Kid Meal Toys. We will also take any non-edible out-of-season items, as we will save them for the store next year. Just drop them off at the office with a note "PTA- School Store".
We need volunteers!
We need adult volunteers with approved applications to help set-up the student store each month and help students make selections and check out their purchases.
